We made a quick stop in Dublin on our way back to the USA and stayed with our friends Wes and April, and their two kids Anna and Alice.  This was David’s first time visiting Ireland, and although I have been many times, there is always new places to explore.

Wes, April and the girls took us an an adventure to the highest pub in Ireland, Johnnie Fox’s.  We hiked part of the Wicklow Way trail all the way to Johnnie Fox’s pub.  It took us about 3 hours and it was absolutely worth it for the cold beer and amazing food for lunch.  Wicklow way brought us some amazing views of Dublin and the Irish countryside - the bus ride back was an adventure in itself and I highly recommend this day trip if you are visiting Dublin.

Johnnie Fox's Pub - worth the hike for the food and beer!
