Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado

November 6 - 7, 2017

Mesa Verde National Park is a smaller park in southwest Colorado. It has a lot of history, and is where the native Americans built their homes, called Pueblos, and lived here for over 700 years. The park protects the archeological sites and cliff dwellings - these sites are some of the most notable and best preserved in the United States. Unfortunately the timing of our visit (off season) meant that we weren’t able to take advantage of the up close and personal tours of the Pueblos, but we were still able to see and learn about the lives once lived here. A very unique and cool experience.
